Weekend Recap:
Friday evening I didn't end up leaving work until about 6 - nothing new there. Sometimes I can sneak out at 4:45 and other days not-so-much. Greg grilled steaks, peppers, onions and asparagus for dinner - it was wonderful. He did some trim work painting and we hit the sack around 11.
Saturday we got up, ate a late breakfast (at CFA!), hit Target and the grocery store. Made it home for Greg to do more painting. We got cleaned up and went on a date to Bella Monica for some Italian dinner. Food was amazing...just as we knew it would be. Then we ran to Coldstone to get ice cream. We sat out side to eat the ice cream...in January...which was lovely! Then ran into Kohl's - which was a pretty lucky trip. I found curtains (panels) for Baby Lane's room! Bought them on a hunch that they would fit and match the bedding. Got home, G opened them up, length/width worked great and to our surprise, matched the navy in the bedding perfectly. Another thing crossed off the list! (We'll still need the hardware to hang them, but hey - it's a start!)
Sunday we had Sunday School, Church, lunch, a quick oil change in my car and then headed to my mom and dad's church for their new building dedication service. It was nice - but really long. After an hour and we weren't even half way through the program I started to get really uncomfortable. But, we made it through and were home by 6. Greg finished taping up the rest of the trim and this week's project is getting the walls painted in the kitchen, living room and hallway. Finger's crossed next Saturday Baby Lane's room gets the furniture moved out and some progress gets going in there.
I should mention that NC STATE beat DUKE this weekend in Raleigh - lots of celebrating at the Lane house. G even wore his State tie (and red socks) to church on Sunday. Go Pack!
