Million Dollar Quartet - go see it!

So last night, mom, dad, brother and myself went and saw Million Dollar Quartet. G couldn't go since he had a late work meeting. Y'all...this show was FABULOUS. Before the show we enjoyed some pizza at the Mellow Mushroom. Durham has really become a great place to be.

The show is about the evening that  Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins got together and sang a bunch of their hits together at Sun Records on December 4, 1956. It was wonderful. These guys were really playing their guitars, and singing. And JLL stole the show with his piano skills. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Mom and dad really enjoyed it too - in their wheelhouse.

If you are in town and are looking for something to do this weekend, head to Durham to the DPAC for this show. Or, if you are planning a trip to NYC, check it out on Broadway.

Here is JLL and Carl Perkins at our radio station yesterday.
