Weekend Recap:
Friday evening G and I stayed in. He fixed steak/rice/veggies - gangnam style if you will - for dinner. On Saturday, G had to be at church at 9am to help hang Christmas lights - so, he left and I stayed home and did laundry, cleaned, mopped, etc. Then I started to tackle the closet in the guest bedroom. Basically, it needs to be cleaned out, so that the stuff that's currently in the man room closet can be moved into that one. Man room = Nursery once baby comes...sorry babe! I didn't get very far though. As most of the stuff was G's before we bought the house. So, it was stuff he has to decide is trash or not. And, the stuff on the top shelf was out of reach and really heavy. So, looks like that is another G project.
Afterwards we went to my parents house. G and my dad were working on the breaks on my car (they had started to sound weird) and mom and I rode to the mall and to Holly Days at Sanderson High (a really cool event - check it out next year!) We then we to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and did some bulk shopping at Sam's. I should mention that G was sucked into his phone after 5pm to follow all the news on the NCSU football coach hire. He was at dinner - but he wasn't - if you know what I mean.
Sunday we had Sunday School and church. Came home for a bit and then I rode to Allison's house - she was having people over for dinner and I took my new camera (early Christmas gift!) to show Steve (a friend of ours who is a REAL camera man for WRAL-TV) who could show me some basics on the camera. After that I met G at church for our Hanging of the Green service - which was very lovely.
I can't believe it's December already. And that it's week 25 for us with baby Lane. Here's to getting a lot of stuff done in the next two weeks to prep for the holidays!
