Weekend Recap:
Friday I got home around 5:30...took some meds and laid on the couch while G made sausage balls,
reindeer cookies and cocktail weenies for the events we had going on for Saturday.
We hit the sack around 11pm and I was up at 2, 4, and then 6 - each time very uncomfortable and needing to pee. Plus, I am pretty sure the sudafed kept me awake. The 6am wake up also arrived with a fever. Eeek. So I took more meds and finally fell back to sleep just in time to get up around 8:30. However, the fever stayed away long enough to eat breakfast, get the house straighted up a bit and shower. We headed to Clayton to eat a Christmas meal with my dad's side of the family. It was a good time. (since I was medicated - I just didn't get too close to anyone!)

Mom couldn't get enough of my cousin's son, Palmer. He is so cute!
|
And, Dad got in some practice with Palmer, too.

This is what happens when you leave your camera on the table. Brother.

Dad (far right) with all of his siblings and mom. This is unusual because Uncle Nelson (far left) only comes in from Washington (state, not DC) about once a year).

Brother, Grandma and myself.

Look how sweet my other cousin's daughter, Jordan, is! She had a blast running around with the (older) boys.
We made it home around 3pm and I took more meds and laid on the couch until it was time to head to church for the Christmas Concert. Mom and Dad met us at the church around 6:30 - it started at 7. It was a PACKED house. Then, we made it home around 9 and I went to bed. G was sweet enough to offer the bed to me and he stayed on the couch. Sunday morning I woke up feeling a bit better - but skipped church (I help with the kids, so I knew I shouldn't be there) - G went without me and went grocery shopping on his way home. I had some soup and by 5-6pm last night, I started to feel a lot better. Still really stuffy - but not as weak and tired.
Hope you had a great weekend! :)
