Happy November!

So last night was Halloween - and we were pretty boring. We fixed a pasta/chicken dish for dinner kind of early so that we could take care of the trick-or-treaters. And, at a little before 7 we flipped the porch light for the "go" sign. We had a total of maybe 20-30 kids come through - although most were in groups of 3 or more, so we didn't actually get up off the couch too many times. Around 8:15 we decided that was enough (plus we were running low on candy) - so, the light went off. And, to our surprise around 9:30 a couple of kids still rang the door bell and G got up to give them candy.

In other news, while laying on the couch watching Law & Order SVU (my favorite) - I could feel the baby kick on my hand. I have felt this a lot, but it stops too soon for G to feel it. I have felt movement on and off for about 2-3 weeks, but it's not consistent and usually feels like a quick muscle spasm near my underwear line. But last night was the night. I told G to just keep his hand in one particular spot (while I was on my side) and within 2 minutes he felt it, and then felt it again. It was really sweet - I had been wanting him to feel something for the last week or so, but it usually just stops and after a few minutes G has to move onto getting ready for work or other important things.

We hope you had a very Happy Halloween!
