21 Weeks.

Well, if you are a friend of mine on Facebook you already know the news - Baby Lane is a BOY - and we are so thrilled! (we honestly didn't care either way) - Although, for the record, I would like to say that I was right and G was wrong. Just saying.

So, we had our parents over on Friday evening to eat supper and I had cupcakes made from the Cupcake Shoppe for dessert. These were vanilla cupcakes that had blue frosting on the inside, so to find out what the gender was, our parents had to cut into (or bite into) the cupcake. They were the cutest cupcakes - I took photos on my real camera but haven't had time to download them.

Afterwards we had this photo snapped and it went online right away so everyone could see the news.

After the gender dinner we headed over to a Halloween Party. A couple from our church throws a party each year and the kids get all dressed up and the adults just hang out talk while the kids play. So, we stopped by for about an hour and shared the news with them, too.

On Saturday we got up REALLY early to head to the NC State v. VA game with our friends Brandon and Adam (Adam went to VA) - and we cooked out, enjoyed the company and then sat through a terrible football game. NC State didn't even show up. But, we had a nice time anyway. After the game, G and I hit up Gap (all sale was take an additional 30% off) and I got a couple of maternity items. There were more I wanted but I used to work at the Gap and a friend of mine who still works there told me next week is Friends & Family (40% EVERYTHING) - so I am holding out for that.

On Sunday we had lunch with G's family and stopped by to see my G-ma - always a good time. We enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. But, I am not looking forward to leaving work around 5:30pm in the dark! Hope you had a nice weekend!
