Weekend Recap:
G and I stayed in on Friday evening. He had the day off and played golf, raked leaves, etc. so we were both lazy on Friday evening. We watched some TV, grilled lemon pepper chicken on the grill from the Meat House and I knitted. Yes - I am officially old.
Saturday we slept in a bit. Then rode to Chick-fil-A for breakfast. (this is always a treat since I hardly ever get CFA for breakfast!) After that we hit up Target, Michael's, Kirkland's and Home Depot. (exciting stuff). We got home, G finished with the leaves and I cleaned and did laundry.
That evening we decided to have a date night - so we went to The Beefmastor Inn for dinner. This place is AWESOME. It's super small - and by small I mean only 20 people or so can eat at the same time. It's literally a salad bar, a steak and baked potato for dinner. And, you wait in your car until your party is called. The cook brings out a big slab of rib eye and asks how much you want and then you enjoy the salad bar and wait for you food. The service was THE BEST and the food was great. Check it out. It's in Wilson.
While in Wilson I thought we should take advantage of visiting Hobby Lobby (since we don't have one of those in Raleigh/Cary/Durham) - and this place is WONDERFUL. It's like a Michael's/AC Moore/Joann's/Kirklands all rolled into one. We spent way too much time in there.
On the way home we stopped for ice cream (at my request) and then hit the sack pretty early.
On Sunday we did Sunday School & church, went to Moe's for lunch and then came home to be lazy for a while. G had to help hang Christmas lights at church so I went to g-ma's by myself - and saw lots of family.
We are getting really excited for Thanksgiving and then putting our Christmas decorations up! Keep us in your prayers - next Monday we go for a 24 week doctor's visit.
Hope you're weekend was as nice as ours!
