So, Friday evening G and I went out for dinner - it was nice. We got home and hit the hay early since we both worked on Saturday. So, we were up at 5:30 on Saturday for work (#yesyoureadcorrectly) and I got to work a bit before 7am. I made it home around 1:45 and ate left over lasagna and then napped for about an hour and a half. Lasagna = just as good the 2nd time around.
Then we got ready and headed out to the game around 4. We met up with some good friends, then had a fancy of dinner inside the stadium that include a slice of Papa John's pizza (me) and a BBQ sandwich (G). Then had NC State Ice Cream - yum!
What looked like it would turn out to be a terrible loss ended up being incredible - we won by one point and all 17 points for the Wolfpack were scored in the 2nd half. Let's just say, we were lucky!
A negative portion of the game: we were surrounded by FSU fans - who had consumed A LOT of alcoholic beverages. And they were super annoying. Plus, one of the guys kept saying how North Carolina was known for guys kissing their sisters. Dude - wrong state. We all know this is in West Virginia - and it's not your sister, it's your cousin. If you're going to make fun of the south, let's do it correctly, people.
Anyway - we're glad the Wolfpack pulled out a win!
Sunday we had Sunday School & Church and then met G's family for a belated birthday lunch. Overall, a great weekend!
