I can't believe it's already July 19. Usually the summer at work is pretty slow...but not this summer! Between a Listener Lunch (yesterday) and a big event coming up in August - things are just swarming. Plus, it's been so hot here that we have hardly spent time out side. G and I are going to the beach mid-September and we're hoping warm weather will still find us there. (We're counting down the days until that vacation!).
In just a couple weeks we are going to Asheville for a weekend company picnic for G's work...should be interesting because a) I won't know anyone there and b) we don't have children....so, we'll be those weird young people who showed for the free food and hotel. True story: they sent out an agenda that included things like "family pool party", "family games", "family dinner"...awkward! But, I guess that means we won't have to be in by 9pm!

Here's to hoping summer sticks around...because we feel like we haven't enjoyed enough yet!
