Food with friends...we are getting old.

Yesterday I had lunch with a couple of girlfriends from church/Bible study - I always enjoy this because it makes me feel like we're real friends...not just friends who see each other when we talk about Jesus. (Not that we don't enjoy that...but it's nice to chat about our family, jobs, etc.). And lucky for me, I had dinner with a high school friend, Jessica - who got married almost a year ago! It was great to see her and catch-up (at Moe's). We have decided to do this at least once a month - except for August because she's super busy with school (she teaches) and a vacation (year around).

I am very thankful for the time I get to spend with girlfriends - and catch up with them. Especially ones like Jessica who I have know for 10 years. We gossiped about who is getting married, the folks have babies, and "where they are now". We decided we will definitely be going to our 10 year reunion (2 years away). It'll probably go something like this movie...
