Couch potato weekend.

Weekend Recap:

Friday night G and I had brinner for supper. It was great. And we basically had zero plans for the rest of the weekend which was awesome. (This never happens for us)

So, Saturday we slept till about 8:30 and then I did a little bit of cleaning (by a little bit I mean: laundry, vacuuming, sweeping and running the dishwasher) and G mowed the grass. We did some P90X and then went for a walk at Sam's Branch Greenway (Clayton) and did about 4 miles there. It was hot...but not as hot as it has been! Saturday evening G smoked a pork tenderloin, baked sweet potatoes and grilled corn on the cob for dinner. It totally got us itching for football season! We then were lazy for the rest of the evening and hit the sack before 11.

Sunday we did Sunday School, church and then lunch at Moe's (my choice)! We made it to my grandma's house around 3:30 which is always a fun time. It's always a surprise as to who will show up on Sundays. Yesterday we had: mom, dad, brother, brothers g-friend, uncle, aunt, cousin, cousin's husband and their two children. The kids (Rivka and Eli) are always entertaining - and super cute. I should mention that cousin (Deana) is expecting their 3rd in September - which is very exciting! When we got home, we walked in the neighborhood for about 45 minutes and then ate leftovers from the night before.

It was a fantastic weekend that didn't include running around every where. Sorry it was so lame and that I didn't get any photos (specifically of the pork or of the cute kids) - maybe next time! Annnnd, lucky for me I am all caught up on Big Brother and I am totally Team Britney! If you're looking for the perfect summertime show...make sure you catch BB14.
