Weekend Recap:
Friday night G and I went out for Mexican in the big city (Zebulon). There was a wait to be seated but luckily for us, a couple from church saw us come in and offered to let us sit with them and their two sweet girls. It was a really nice time to just eat, laugh and enjoy their company.
Saturday morning G and I both woke up super early. I'm talking like 6am on a Saturday. We went to bed around 10:30 the night before and I guess had enough sleep when 6 rolled around. We decided to get up, go eat breakfast, run to target and the grocery store (my parents were coming over to our house for dinner - we were cooking). So, we went to IHOP and ate pancakes that had more calories than I can even count. It was great. Then we finished our other errands and were home by 10:30(AM). Yes, this seriously happened. We are so old. I knew I was old when I ENJOYED grocery shopping at 9am on a Saturday. NO ONE is in there. It was awesome.
I ran laundry, picked up a bit, then napped (food coma from the pancakes). My parents came over around 4:30 and it started to storm pretty hard. We finished supper around 7 and then just watched TV until they left. We hit the sack early again. Sunday, we did Sunday School and Church...and then birthday lunch for Greg's mom. Her b-day is Tuesday but we had lunch with G's granddad, aunt, cousin, mom and dad.
When I got home I got SUCKED into the TV...it was the final rose on The Bachelorette. I didn't care about One F Jef or Arie. But, whatever. Emily decided she didn't love Arie as much as she loved One F. Whatever. Sean is the real catch...she totally screwed that up. I am glad it's over. I wasted so much time on this show. Now on to bigger things...like Big Brother which has a guy (Ian) who can kick himself in the head. Now, that's real TV.
