It was a perfect weekend at the Lane house. We really needed a three day weekend. Lucky for us, we really didn't have anything planned - this NEVER happens. Friday I got home around 5 and we went for a walk at Sam's Branch Greenway. To walk "to the bridge and back" it takes about an hour and 15 minutes (about 4 miles). We got home, grilled steaks and baked sweet potatoes. Saturday we slept till about 8:30...yay! We finally got up, got ready and went out for breakfast at The Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village.
The food was great and I walked past the Bargain Box and saw everything was 50% off. G is not much on consignment shop shopping but lucky for me, I found a dress and two skirts.

It was fabulous. Sunday: Sunday School, Church, lunch at Chili's, a visit with grandma, grocery store and Redbox. (The Iron Lady & We Bought a Zoo = both were super). Monday we ate breakfast at home and finally made it back to the greenway around 11:30. Subway for lunch,
One final thing about last night's show...did you catch that Alessandro said he was a gypsy?! And that he dated his third cousin? That really happened...I could make that up, but I totally didn't. Is it sad that I hope he ends up on TLC's My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding?
