Three Year Old Class

I can hardly believe our little baby is in the 3-year-old class at school. It seems like yesterday he was going for his first day (around 7 months old) in the first room down the hall...now, he's all the way down at the other side of the hall with only one class remaining after this. Will is starting to recognize most all of the letters in the alphabet, learning to spell commonly used words like "MAMA", "DAD", "DOG" and such. He's writing his name and he's a rotten mess.

Naps are hit or miss (mostly still a hit), he goes to bed before 9 (on a good night) and usually sleeps till 6:30 or 7. His favorite books include: Where the Wild Things Are, Dragons Love Tacos, and Pout Pout Fish. He LOVES ice cream, riding his new "big boy bike", walks to the library, dressing himself (all the tears) and getting as dirty as possible.

I know I've said it before, but I'm not sure I knew what love was until Will came along. I've loved (and appreciated) Greg so much more, valued stillness (which rarely happens) and just admired the small stuff that Will thinks is wonderful (like the waving to the trash man, a butterfly on the inside of the garage, getting four skittles after dinner, etc.).

We love you, Will! And, no matter how big you get, you'll ALWAYS be my baby.
