Our little guy says the wildest things these days. Things that make us laugh, things that just confuse us and sometimes things that just make me sit back in awe of him.
Some of my favorites these days include...
"That was not a accident! It was purpose!" (to a friend at the pool)
"Mommy, I want to bring a toy in the car. Can you go get me one? I'm exhausted!" (thanks, kid)
"Mommy, I don't like potatoes. One time I did. Not now" (while eating dinner)
"Watch this! I can jump just like a chimney cleaner!" (You mean sweeper...while watching Mary Poppins)
There's certainly never a dull moment. My sweet little boy tells me things like "Mommy, I love you so much" or "I love you to the sun!". I tell him "you're my baby!" and he responds "I am NOT a baby! But, I'll always be your baby, Mommy" MELT MY HEART ALL THE WAY DOWN.
But my most favorite lately: "Mommy...I want to meet Jesus". The first time he told me that, I started to cry. He's so innocent and doesn't know how ugly our world around us is. But, it makes me incredibly happy that he only sees good right now.
I tell him now, that Jesus is in our heart and one day, when we go to Heaven, we'll meet Jesus. I'm not sure Will understands all of that, but it fills me with so much joy that my baby wants to meet Jesus. So do I my sweet baby, so do I!
