My little guy isn't so little.

I can't believe my "baby" is going to be two in just a short 6 weeks. It seems like just yesterday I was on maternity leave - or that he was walking for the first time. And now, he uses a spoon. He says "love you, Mama" at bedtime, sings songs in the car with us (even if the words aren't always right) and has peed in the potty a handful of times after getting out of the bath.

Video of spoon eating, here. I watched in amazement because he ate the entire yogurt with his spoon.

And, Will has wanted to sit on the potty in his bathroom for a while. But, once he gets on there he says "all done". We think this is because he gets afraid he'll fall in. So, I bought this potty to keep in there. The first night he sat on it and nothing happened. The next 4 nights he sat and pee-peed! Of course I say "buddy, you pee-peed! Good job! I'm so proud of you! Let's dump it in the big potty!" and he flushed the big one, drug his stool over and wanted to "wash hands". Although he's no where near ready for potty training, it's good practice and he's not afraid. Not to mention we've had the occasion "pee pee! diaper off!" and we run to the bathroom, but he's usually just gone (diaper is warm) or nothing happens. But that's okay!

Here's the cutest kid I know.
