Christmas Eve we baked cookies using a recipe I found on Pinterest. It was a total fail...it was so dry, I had to keep adding water just to try and roll it out. Will didn't care. He loved helping and licking his fingers every chance he could get after sticking them in the dough. We visited with Greg's family and then came home to decorate the not-so-awesome cookies for Santa (cough, Will). We used frosting, m&ms, sprinkles and marshmallows (Will is obsessed with those). They looked OK and tasted OK with all the extra sugar. But, if you have a better recipe, please share with me!
On Christmas morning, Will woke to a new Thomas roller coaster, dump truck, Noah's Ark Little People, books, clothes and other random items in his stocking. He seemed to love it all!
We then visited my parents at their house, came home to nap and then G's family came to our house.
We enjoyed Christmas so much with our little man. He has been having a ball with his new toys. I should mention that our guest bedroom is now a playroom...so he has a new space to enjoy with all of his things.
What a wonderful time of year - the celebration of family and friends and most importantly, the birth of our Savior!
