Anyway - Will has gotten very adventurous...he is *almost* climbing onto the couch without help and he also tries to get into the bathtub on his own...he can reach almost anything off any table/dresser/counter - as he's learned that standing on your tip-toes gives you almost two more inches. He has so many teeth (13!)...and more keep coming. He's always up for a snack...ALWAYS. And the child will sit in your lap and read a book any time you'd like. Don't dare tell him to sit on the floor beside you...NO NO...he must be sitting on your lap.
He can be super friendly...another mom at daycare told me Will always wants to hug her, say "hey!" or "bye bye!"...she said he has the "most personality out of all the class"...this means trouble probably. But, take him to church nursery and he clings like a monkey to me and buries his face in my shoulder. I
He's started to show affection which is THE BEST. "Will, can you give me a kiss?" and he'll put his mouth right onto ours (melts my heart!). "Will, can you give me some love?" and he'll lay his head on your shoulder. "Will, can you say your blessing?" and he slaps his hands together, smiles big and says "Ah-man!". "Will, give me 5!" which he follows with a high-5. "Will, give me some pound!" and he will give you the most sissy-hand-opened fist pump you can imagine. And, he's finally saying "mama" without being prompted...coming up to me in the kitchen, hands up and saying "MaaaMaaa" while smiling. Yes. You can have a pony and a brand new car.
He's the joy in our hearts and the best cherry on top you could ask for. Just when I think I couldn't love him any more than I do right now, it somehow happens. Thank you, Jesus, for Will!
A favorite: playing with G's cellphone/charger.
A fun game for a 15 month old? Let them play with your raincoat.
Will must have only fussed for 2 seconds in nursery. Because later I got photos like these from my friend Jessica who was in there!
