Happy Mother's Day.

We had a really nice weekend filled with eating out, walks outside, a visit to the park and visits with family. We are so grateful to be able to celebrate with our moms. I am also so, so, so grateful for the gift of being a mother and so glad that God entrusted Will to me. And, for all of you women who are waiting for your time (pregnancy/adoption) - or struggling with any sort of infertility, I have lifted prayers for you...you are not forgotten.

Will, you are 14 months today - you are walking and trying to talk your heart out. You are strong willed and can throw a tantrum in a heartbeat. You love being outside - barefoot - and picking up "icks" (sticks). You love being with me, but your face lights up when you see your "Da-Da". We recently packed up that bedtime bottle (you now take a sippy cup at bedtime like a champ) which means another little piece of your babyhood is behind us. You enjoy books (for 2-10 minutes at a time) and you've learned new dance moves. We love making you laugh and playing "hide and seek" with you. You are the sweetest gift we've ever gotten. Not just today, but everyday, I am honored to be your Mama.
