I'm baaaaaack (but not in a scary movie kind of way). It's been a while. We've been busy.
Will had 7-8 bad nights in a row of sleep, we visited the doctor last Thursday and were told "it's his teeth" - and, you can give him the next dosage of Motrin or Tylenol which should help (we were still going by the infant measurement which is not enough for him anymore). Then, things got worse on Friday/Saturday (read: fever, fussy, only sleeping if being held and a pesky rash) - another visit to the doctor Sunday morning: a sinus infection and ear infection.
So, we go to the pharmacy to fill the meds and the pharmacist says "how much does he weigh?" I answer "24 pounds and some change"...her face said it all. "This is not the right dosage for your child - it's really high," she tells me. So, 30 minutes later and a few phone calls to the doctor (who had already left for the day) we were on our way home with the correct dosage of antibiotic. Monday night, Will finally got a good night's sleep and we think we've turned this corner. This is all normal parent stuff, right?
