Okay, it's been awhile since I've done one of these. So, here we go!
The Diono Radian RXT convertible car seat.
This seat is awesome. It's made to be rear facing from 5 to 45 pounds and forward facing from 20 to 80 pounds. BUT, remember that it's best to keep a child rear facing till 2 years. It also converts to a booster seat for up to 120 pounds! It's slender so it doesn't take up too much space and you could even put three of these across if you needed to. We've loved it. It was a Christmas gift to us (for Will) and we installed it right away. Will hit the 30 inch mark right around 9 months. So, he's been in this seat for a while now!
The Britax Highway XE-G4 convertible car seat.
We bought this for car #2 that doesn't travel much with Will. However, we needed a second seat because he does occasionally get picked up with that car and we needed a second one just in case. We loved our Britax infant carrier and this seat rated well. Plus, it's a special color for BuyBuyBaby that they are discontinuing (which is what they told me when I ordered over the phone). I had a $25 gift card from a return I made and a 20% off coupon. I got this seat for less than $150 which is a heck of a bargain. I like our main seat better, especially since it will go to a booster, but this one is very comfy and Greg said it was a breeze to install.
Little Tikes Cozy Truck
Will got this for his birthday and LOVES it. The other day, G took him for a spin in it and he fell asleep. Seriously...arms out the window, head on his arms...when he sees it, he lights up! It currently is living on porch (on the side of the house out of view) - but if Will sees it, he will have a melt down to ride it. Did you know tantrums start this early? They do - doctor said it was true, too.
The Wheels on the Bus Book
This was also a birthday gift. Will loves books. Sometimes for :30 seconds and sometimes for 5 minutes. But hey, I'll take it. This book is super cute. You press the yellow button and the tune to Wheels on the Bus plays with just a bell and the bears are adorable.
Fisher-Price Little People Lil' Movers School Bus
To stay with the theme above, Will got this as another birthday gift. He opens and closes the doors, picks up the people, drops them on their heads back into the bus. There's even a wheelchair on the bus for any handicapped lil' people. They think of everything, don't they? I kind of think the book and this could be my go-to first birthday party gift. :-)
