Four Months

Can you believe Will is four months old? I sure can't. It seems like yesterday we were just taking one month photos. Little man is a third of the way to one year. He had his four month check up yesterday at the doctor's office. He is 16.8 pounds (75th percentile) and 26.5 inches tall long (90th percentile). Little man had 3 more shots - and he screamed and turned so red. I cried - again.

He has been running a fever on and off - not too high, but still a bit scary! Even with a fever, he's been a smiley, talking baby. Recently you've learned how to roll on your side (and a few times on to your belly although you hate this), you found your feet and love to grab them or put your two feet together in the air. You also have laughed a handful of times - and sometimes we find new tickle spots on your accidentally and you chuckle. You love being held under your arms standing - you look so proud!

We took these pictures on Saturday (his actual 4 month birthday) - and he enjoyed it so much. This kid loves his daddy. Grins like crazy at him. Eventually he'll learn to look at the camera and smile, right!?

You have brought us so much joy in these four months. Picking you up from your crib each morning is the most rewarding feeling I have ever felt. At night, when I feed you and rock you asleep, I can't help but tear up thinking how blessed we are to have you in our lives. You have made us a family and we thank God for you every day. At night when I rock you, I pray that God watches over you and protects you from harm.

 

We hardly remember what life was like before you. We love you with every piece of our hearts.
