So, Will turned 3 weeks old yesterday. We celebrated by going out to a doctor's check-up and then hitting Target. Will is now 8 pounds 11 ounces and 21.5 inches long. He is growing like a weed! Some of his little onesies are getting snug and he'll move from the newborn diapers to the 1's probably by early next week. When they say time flies, they really mean it.
Days at home alone with baby can be a bit of a challenge. Will literally eats every two-three hours like clockwork. Sometimes G and I laugh...especially in the middle of the night. He will wake up almost EXACTLY at the two hour mark from the start of his last feeding. This kid knows his meal times and isn't willing to budge on them yet. During the day I try to hold Will a lot - poor guy spends several hours lying down. Plus, I'm only home for a little while and can't get enough of him! :) But, when he rests, I try to do laundry, shower, eat, make the bed, brush my teeth - you know, normal stuff. I haven't ventured out alone with Will yet - he's so small and young still. Plus the weather here has been pretty yucky and cold.
He mostly eats and sleeps. Although over the last week he does spend more time awake, looking around, stretching his little arms and legs out and making the cutest faces.
