29 Weeks - Happy New Year!

Happy 2013 - and it's officially the year of baby Lane's birth! We went back on NYE to try the 3D again and baby was much more attentive. This time he was head down facing the side  - and at the end of the visit he had flipped over (head down facing in) - which meant he was over the show.

Here are a few of the pictures. Yes - I still think these are weird and creepy - but, at the same time pretty neat. And, like I said before - my flex money paid for the visit - which I would have just lost the money had I not gone. There were 86 total pictures - here are just a few.

If his nose looks like this still when he arrives - this is G's nose all the way.

yawn.

I can pick my nose with my foot!

Okay, enough. I'm done!
It was a fun appointment looking at baby and seeing him move. The even crazier part is now I can really feel him move - he can punch pretty hard some times! We go back to the doctor on 1/9 - and every two weeks after until around mid February when we start going once a week.

After the appointment, Greg and I went to Yard House to try it out (and catch some of the NC State bowl game - Greg was dying at this point to watch football) - it's a great place to eat and to catch a game! All the TVs were on the State game and everyone there was wearing red...our kind of place.

We ran to the grocery store afterwards and then to Target. We spent the evening lying on the couch watching football, movies and Dick Clark's Rockin' NYE. We rented and saw Trouble with the Curve (I had already seen but Greg hadn't), Hope Springs (too funny) and Total Recall (not my thing, but was OK).

On New Year's Day we slept till 9am - ate leftovers for breakfast and then headed to Lowe's. We've picked out the paint color for baby's room and hope to purchase it this weekend. January is the month to paint, get the crib and dresser/changing table put together. I also had bought artwork from Etsy for baby's room - and we bought frames for those yesterday while we were out - although, they will have to be painted, too. So much to do - in what feels like not a lot of time!
