Well, I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving - we sure did! My break officially started Wednesday afternoon - I took a long lunch break with some co-workers to see the new Twilight movie (yes. I saw it. Not super awesome, but glad I saw it). When I got home G made a pumpkin pie (he's so great!) and then we went out for a quick dinner.
Thursday was a big day - lunch with my family and then dinner with G's family. Lots of food and great company. On the way home we stopped for our Christmas tree. Getting it on Thanksgiving is sort of our tradition now - and it's a good one.
We don't actually decorate the tree until the day after. But, it sure is nice not having to leave the house on the Friday after Thanksgiving. So, on Friday, G worked out in the yard, I did laundry and then we started decorating the house. We made pizza rolls for dinner (SO YUMMY - you can make them, too). And we hit the sack kind of early.
On Saturday we hit the gym, had lunch out and did some grocery shopping. Then we came home to finish up the decorating. That evening we went to Outback to eat dinner and swapped some jeans our for G at the J Crew Outlet.
On Sunday we went to Sunday School and church - then other than running to Michael's late in the afternoon, we were lazy and ate leftovers.
Lucky for us, our weekend didn't end on Sunday. We also were off on Monday - but more on that day in tomorrow's post!
