22 Weeks.

And 2 days. Sorry this is a bit late!

Weekend Recap:

Friday night G and I went to Raleigh Roundup - it's a Cowboy Casual Event for the American Cancer Society and is always a lot of fun. It's one of those black-tie events, but you wear jeans and there is a mechanical bull. Yes - seriously. It was us and a bunch of coworker friends. Here are some pics. Please take special notice to the guy who jumped in with the eye patch. We did not know him, but it was the high light of the night. He was super nice by the way.

On Sunday, G and I had to be at church at 10am to help setup for the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Pancake Supper. After we finished with that we went home. G watched football and I napped for over 2 hours. I was exhausted.

On Sunday we did Sunday School and Church and then had lunch with our friends Craig and Deana and their son, Sam at Chili's. Then it was time to start cooking pancakes. We spent the whole afternoon and evening at church helping with that - it was a great turnout and we collected about $1,500 for our Funding The Future...NOW campaign! We had over 100 people come out and enjoy pancakes made by G and the boys. There was also a silent auction for cakes. I was pretty bummed when we lost out on a cake I was REALLY wanting. Better luck next year.

Hoping this weekend is a bit more low key!
