Today I am officially 13 weeks. Totally crazy - about 4-5 weeks ago this time seemed so far away. We arrived to the beach last night with Jami (whose husband is coming down later today) and we get to spend week 13 here at Holden Beach pretty much doing nothing and it sounds fabulous.
On Thursday we had our doctor's appointment for the ultrasound and blood work for the 1st Trimester Screening (re-do since Baby was bit too small two Mondays ago). The doctor told us that the amount of fluid behind Baby Lane's neck was healthy and normal, so by the end of this week we should have our "odds" based on my blood sample.
And in the meantime, not even worrying about it. It's not like the results would change how much we love this little person already. So, this week, Baby, you'll be eating snacks, going for walks on the beach and hear a lot of laughing and conversation here on vacation.
I officially opened my Bella-Band yesterday. It was REALLY nice to not have to button my britches. I can wear them, and they are comfortable, until I sit down - and then - not so much. That thing is amazing and I feel like I should have purchased one in every color when they were on sale.
I should also mention that now several friends from work know (after letting them know on Game Night Friday night). They were all super excited to hear the news and they know they can't share any news until I return and let the bosses know.
