Weekend Recap:
We had a super busy weekend! But, what's new, right? It wouldn't be a weekend if it wasn't busy in our world. I helped work a remote Friday afternoon from 3-5pm, then I went straight home from there and got home a few minutes before 6. At 7pm friends came over for game night where we ate, laughed, gossiped and played games - well a few of them.
Saturday morning I got up early (8am) and then went to Old Navy to use my bucks that I had earned - I mean, you can't let those go to waste, right? Right. So, I picked up a few cardigans, a cute t-shirt and a shirt for G. Right after I had a 10am hair appointment (THANK GOODNESS) - I should have gone about 4 weeks ago, but one thing led to another and I just couldn't make it. I used a new girl at the salon (my girl left there) and she was great. Then I had to go into work for a couple of hours to wrap up some loose in ends. I ran a few more errands and then headed home.
I cleaned up a bit, did some laundry, etc and then got cleaned up to go on a fancy date to the Outback (ha!) with G. And we didn't pass up Cold Stone ice cream afterwards.
Sunday we had Sunday School and Church - and then I went to a friend's (Jessica) baby shower - she got a lot of great gifts and I am so excited for her!
It was a good, busy weekend. One that included a Wolfpack win and a Tarheel loss - and in G's football world, this is Heaven. Here's to another great week!
