A slow weekend. Next weekend = celebrity stalking.

Weekend Recap:
Friday after work I stopped by one of our favorite places, The Meat House, where I picked up beef tips, mushrooms, chips & salsa. So when I got home, G and I snacked on the chips and salsa before dinner. G grilled the beef tips, corn on the cob and the mushrooms and we had a great dinner. We then watched The Matrix (it was on TV) and snoozed on the couch a bit.

Saturday morning we were up by 8am and made breakfast at home. Then we hit the gym. I also did a Target run (why not, right?). We got home, I did laundry, G washed my car (thanks, hon!) and then we were lazy until we got cleaned up for dinner. We went to Firebirds, another favorite of ours and then had Ben & Jerry's for dessert in North Hills.

Sunday we went to Sunday School and church - I filled in and taught the 3's in Sunday School - which will bless your heart on any day. Those kids are fantastic and so sweet. One little girl kept calling "Alex" to get her attention - however, she called her "Alice". Alex was too sweet to correct her and just smiled and giggled every time she heard "Alice".

After church we went and ate pizza buffet. Yep - that happened. And then did some grocery shopping for the week. Finally around 3 we made it to my grandma's house and visited with family.

It was a great weekend!

This week? Crazy for both G and I. I have a big event taking place on Thursday evening for work, an event Friday afternoon and an event Saturday. HOWEVER. The event Saturday is at a CFA - so you know I am excited about that. And G, he has inventory this week. Not to mention Friday night is the Jimmy V Pairings Party that myself and a bunch of girlfriends from work are attending - but, Saturday Night is the Jimmy V gala (where G will go with me) and it's a fancy party.
