I know what you're thinking. And, no...sadly G and I did not go see Wicked
last night. However, a friend from Bible study was going with her husband and
both of their parents live a pretty good ways out - and she was concerned about
finding a babysitter on a school night for something that would be so late. So,
I offered to watch her girls (5 months and 6 years old).
I told her I could get there by 4:30 and G could bring pizza for dinner
around 6:30. I sprung this on G about a week before it happened. He said he
would help but wasn't going to change any diapers - this sounded okay to me.
So, we ate pizza, watched Happy Feet 2 and around 9:00 I put the baby down
while G played board games with the older one who went to bed shortly after
that.
I am sure he wouldn't admit it - but, I think he had a pretty good time. He
was more comfortable watching the older one than the smaller one - I think
small babies
make him nervous freak him out. But, I did get him to hold
her for a little bit while I cleaned up dinner and made her bottle.

| Gregster feeling REALLY awkward. But he got the hang of it. |
When the kids were finally down we turned on TLC and watched two episodes of "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" on TLC. I think I may have found ANOTHER show to DVR. I don't even know what a Gypsy is, but after the show we came to the conclusion that they are CRAZY. They marry really young, they go over the top for their weddings, the women don't work and the
men boys look like they are from the Jersey Shore. What's not to like? Check it out if you get time!
