We went to the beach a few weeks ago and had a great time. This year was very different - last year we had a little guy who had to figure out how to walk on the sand - and, not eat it - and who also loved chasing seagulls and just running down the beach. This year, he wanted someone to take him into the "big waves!" and he wanted to "dig!" and "build sandcastles!"
He played, napped, snacked, and ate ice cream every day. It doesn't get much better than that, right?
