For the love of Phil.

Okay - normally I try not to get all political here. And, even now, I'm not doing that. But let me say...I am really ticked at A & E right now. They have suspended Phil Robertson from the show Duck Dynasty because he took a stand on gay marriage.

First, who cares what stand he took - he's allowed to have an opinion, right? That's what's wrong today...we spend so much time caring what people think and what is not going to be "politically correct" that we forget that this country was built on freedom. Phil isn't doing anything to people who don't agree with him. He's simply saying he "doesn't feel it's right" and he's backing it up with his religious beliefs. When did this become wrong? Sheesh.

Anyway, I'm team DD - we love the show at our house - and we certainly think a lot of Phil for sticking up for what he believes. Those Louisiana boys were doing just fine before this show, and even if it gets cancelled, I think they'll keep on doing just fine. And let's face it...it's one of the highest rated shows - if A & E drops them, I am sure there is a list of networks on the edge of their seats that would pick it up!
