C. Diff in the hiz-ouse

Will had his first round of antibiotics - well technically he finishes them on Wednesday. After lots of ewie goopy poopy, and a low fever that just would go away...and three doctor visits, his stool samples came back positive for C. Difficile. A bacterial infection in his intestines.

Little man has done great taking his meds. He still isn't back to sleeping "through the night" as he was - but each night gets a little better. He has been a happy camper through it all, too. Parents you've been warned: viruses and infections can causes rashes on young children. Doctor told us that if it's only on his arms and legs and he's sick, that's where it's coming from - trying to fight the sickness.

Poor guy felt pretty bad though. One morning he cried while sleeping but as soon as we'd pick him up, he fell right back to sleep. But don't dare try to put him back down! Breaks my heart and yet makes us feel so happy that he's comforted by us.
