Tomorrow Will turns 16 weeks old. Still. Cannot. Believe. It.
He is changing so much each day. He currently loves to be sitting up or up right. He also sees pretty far away now...last night, G was in the kitchen and we were a good 6-8 feet away and he kept smiling at G's funny faces. Little monkey has started to *attempt* rolling. He has no idea he is doing it yet. But, when on his side, he'll flip to his back or to his front. And when on his belly he'll prop almost on his side.
He has been sleeping well, too. He'll pull 6-8 hours in his first stretch and goes back down for 1-3 hours usually. He's also starting to stay awake for longer periods (for more than 2-3 hours!).
Will doesn't know it, but his friend was born on Sunday. Jett Armstrong Potts arrived after a LONG day of labor for my BFF Rachel. He's a cutie. Hope to see him today at lunch. Here was Will telling Jett to come on out on Saturday night:
Will is still being swaddled (for now) - in a couple of weeks we may try to wean him from it. We may try the Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit - or just do legs out for a few days, then an arm out for a few days, then the other arm. We'll see.
And here was Will this morning. He is so dog-on happy in the mornings. It's adorable. I tried to feed him (he should have been hungry) but he kept smiling so much and so big that milk just started to dribble out of his mouth. Then I'd pull the bottle away and he'd just smile and talk to me. Blesses my heart!
