Don't panic. I know CPR.

So, yesterday I took a CPR class through work. It started at 8:30 and ran until 2pm. They did feed us lunch which is a plus. So, I learned how to do CPR on an adult, child and infant. I also learned how to help someone who is choking, having a stroke, heart attack, fainting, going through shock, etc. I can also wrap your arm like a mummy to stop your bleeding. Well, of course when I practiced, it was on someone who wasn't bleeding. But, I can do some pretty sweet mummy work.

The class was very helpful - although very repetitive and boring at times, but still, a good one to take if you haven't ever taken it. Looking back, I can't believe parents trusted me with their kids and I didn't know how to do these things. I myself was never a lifeguard so I never took the class. Maybe I thought I could just do chest compressions, blow in someones mouth and voilĂ  they would instantly come through like in the scene in the Sandlot. You know, with Squints and Wendy...except without the fake drowning and the kiss.
