I was an everyday girl. Now I'm an every-other.

Before you drop that jaw and think I am talking about zesty frolics with G - get your head out of the gutter! I am talking about washing my hair. I have pretty oily hair but have noticed it looking not-so- oily in the mornings when I get up. I think this is partly because I have been coloring my hair for almost 4 years now...insane! I think it has "dried out" a big because of this. So - I thought, you know what? I am going to see if I can just go every-other-day with a wash/blow dry/flat-iron. I also thought I'd give this a try because my hair has been feeling a bit unhealthy. So, two Saturday's ago I washed and went to church the next day with day old hair. It looked pretty good! Even when I went to bed that night it didn't seem as gross as I thought it would be. And ever since, I have been washing every-other-day. The crazy part is that this morning when I got up - it was a wash day- I thought to myself...I bet I could go another day. BUT, I didn't risk it and I washed and blow dried. This saves me about 20-25 minutes on days I just have to shower - it's amazing. I've stopped for coffee, I've stopped for gas and coffee and been to work a few minutes early on these days.

Speaking of hair and other things girly - I got my 2nd Beauty Tube on Saturday in the mail. If you don't get Beauty Tube...you should. I was getting Birch Box and it was just "okay". It was $10 a month and you got a box of 5-6 samples each month. But, they were really small samples and usually at least half of the items in it I was not interested in. So, a co-worker showed me her Beauty Tube and I was SOLD. It comes every 3 months and is $29.99 (plus $6 for shipping) - which is comparable in price to the Box - but it's so much better. It comes with about 10-12 samples and 2-3 of them are full size. Here is a picture of this season's Tube:

So far I have only had time to try the It's a 10 Miracle hair product, the Mally lip gloss and the Smashbox primer. All great so far!
